Ask a Missionary #2

Mission in the heart of Cameroonian jungle

- Sister, what do the residents of Djouth do and what their homes look like?

- The peoples' homes are poor. Mostly they are made up of just one room with a bonfire in the middle that helps away mosquitoes and dangerous animals.

The beds are made from Bamboo logs. Very rarely they have ,mattresses or blankets.

In the morning, the adults go out to work in the fields. When they return home in the afternoon, they have a short rest and start preparing food.

The people mostly eat only once a day. Their meal is usually made of cooked bananas and different leaf spices.
