September Appeal 2025

Dear Friends of the Mission,
We would like to thank you all for your continued support and cooperation in the Missionary Work of the Church.

We recommend three mission projects for your attention. We trust that you, our dear helpers, will open your hearts to support a project to educate orphans in the Central African Republic, the construction of a chapel in a poor village in India, and the installation of a water tank at a primary school in Tanzania.

We, Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver, assure you of our daily prayers for your intentions. Each month, in a spirit of gratitude for your cooperation and financial support for the mission, Holy Mass is celebrated in all the houses of our Congregation for the intentions of our living and deceased benefactors.

May God reward every act of kindness toward those in need. God bless you all!

1. Helping orphans learn in Bangui – Central African Republic

Our Congregation, the Daughters of Mary Immaculate, is engaged in humanitarian aid - we help poor women, children and young people in difficult life situations.  The country has been embroiled in civil war since 2012. Malnutrition and disease are widespread. We must provide children with  a better future by including orphans in the educational program. We want to purchase educational materials for approximately 300 children and training materials for teaching staff. We would be very grateful for financial support to implement our program.

The parish of the Good Shepherd in Kathalcherra, in the Diocese of Agartala, comprises 16 villages covering approximately 40 square kilometers. Demdum is a particularly poor village, located 10 km from the main parish church. For years, people gathered for Mass in a small clay chapel. They have been saving for a new chapel for five years, but their donations cover only  a small portion of the anticipated costs. We are asking for financial support. We would be grateful for any donation to help bring this long-awaited project to fruition. With prayers for the necessary graces and God's blessings for all benefactors,

Fr. C. Abraham CSC, Kathalcherra – Tripura, India

3. Water tank for Primary School – Tanzania

St. Elizabeth Primary School in Duluti-Akheri has been under the care of the Sisters of Charity of St. Charles Borromeo for years. Our biggest challenge right now is access to clean water for the children and staff. Until now, rainwater has been used, which is often in short supply during droughts. To solve this problem, we want to purchase and install a water storage tank to provide enough water for the entire year. This water would be used for cooking, drinking, sanitation, and watering the garden where we grow vegetables for our own consumption. This project will help everyone maintain a healthy lifestyle and personal hygiene. We assure all donors of our prayers.
